Isla is a sculptural light object inspired by natural formations shaped by water and time - waterfalls, caves and rock crevices where light appears unexpectedly. Its elongated, vertical form evokes the moment when flowing matter is momentarily frozen, suspended between movement and stillness.
The body is cast in recycled aluminum and intentionally left raw, bearing traces of the casting process. A brass accent with bronze overflows is embedded within the form, acting as a subtle focal point rather than a surface ornament. Light is concealed within the object and revealed gradually. It emerges from inside the form, filtering through cracks and openings, creating a sense of depth and quiet mystery - as if the object were illuminated from its core.
Isla exists as an autonomous object of light, where illumination is inseparable from material and form. Its vertical presence anchors the space, while the warm glow softly reshapes the surrounding atmosphere.
