Lopi is a sculptural bench combining a raw metal structure with natural sheepskin upholstery. Its form evokes a sense of primal shelter and tactile intimacy, where material and instinctive comfort come together naturally.
The base is cast in recycled aluminum and bronze with a rough, almost geological surface, contrasted by the softness of natural wool, which bears subtle, irregular bronze flecks that echo the metal below.
The name Lopi refers to Icelandic wool - untreated, irregular, and alive -reflecting the bench’s honest materiality and rejection of artificial perfection.
Lopi sits somewhere between furniture and artifact: grounded, tactile, and deeply connected to natural rhythms and material truth.
